Automotive Made Easy (Part-Time)

Course Info

This class is designed for the person who may not be mechanically inclined, but wants to gain general knowledge about their automobile. Prior automotive experience is NOT necessary.
 
Some of the areas to be covered are basic tools, checking fluids, belts, hoses, filters, electrical, brakes, drivelines, tires and wheel alignment. Much of the curriculum is to help you identify systems and potential issues with your automobile. Even if you do not want to try the repairs yourself, you will become a better informed consumer, so when you take your vehicle to a repair facility you can make decisions about your vehicle that could save you money.

Instruction is divided between classroom and shop activities. A certificate will be issued upon completion of the course.
