GED GED preparation is a full-time day program , 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday Lunch is from 11:00 – 12:00. We have a cafeteria at Erwin, or you may go off campus.
 There are teacher-directed lessons and individualized work for each student. There is no fee for this class. However, all prospective students are required to take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) before registration for class.
 After GED preparation class, students will need to go to an official GED testing center to take the test.
