Heather Smith

Heather entered The Learning Center hoping to qualify for our PC Support program. She was eager to go back to school to learn computer skills so that she no longer had to work for a minimal salary.

Despite a hearing impairment, she kept her focus. With the help of a TLC special needs instructor, she successfully retested.

Heather graduated from the PC Support program with honors! She plans to build some work experience, then hopefully one day start her own business. Heather encourages students not to give up on their dreams, and to have a successful educational experience so they can pursue their career choice.
