LPN - January 2012 PM Class is CLEARED to Fingerprint. Refer to the handout you received at Registration for place and times or see information below.
You should proceed to the fingerprinting location on the date indicated above for YOUR program.
Prior to leaving the fingerprinting location, you will be provided with a
pink fingerprint verification form.
Please bring this form to school and give it to your instructor on the 2nd day of class.

Student Services
Student Services has full-time, program advisors and counselors available to assist with career planning and personal growth. Part-time licensed school psychologist and school social worker services are also available.

Career Planning
Career Planning is provided to help individuals choose or confirm realistic career goals. It is a flexible program designed according to the needs of the individual. Individuals are provided with information about the center's training programs through videos, classroom visitations and discussions with counselors, instructors and students.
Information is also provided concerning local job markets, pay scales and limitations (if any) imposed by working conditions. Recommendations are then made regarding technical training or upgrading of academic skills.
Career Planning services are available Monday-Friday from 7:30 am- 3:00 pm.

Program for the Hearing Impaired
Erwin's Program for the Hearing Impaired, serving students since 1986, is designed to promote success for all hearing impaired students in their chosen programs. All technical programs, campus organizations and activities are available to hearing impaired students.
A certified instructor and a school-based interpreter provide tutorial assistance and curriculum modification for students. The program's coordinator maintains a close working relationship with Vocational Rehabilitation and other community agencies that provide services to hearing impaired students.

- Real-Time and Captioning Services
- Telecommunication Devices for the Deaf

Special Needs and Handicapped Students
Documented hearing impaired, visually impaired, or specific learning disabled students can be admitted to any program without meeting TABE exit requirements. These special needs students may require and are provided with special services.
Special needs students attend the Technical Resource Center (TRC) for remediation. The TRC staff and the program instructor use observations, testing, evaluations, and alternative assessment as means to track a student's progress.
Designated parking, elevator access, and wheelchair ramps at all entry ways into the building are provided.

CARIBE Program
The Career Recruitment and Instruction in Basic English (CARIBE) program is an Adult and Community Education project offering free English language, GED, and Hi-Tec vocational training to recent entrants from Cuba, Haiti, Columbia, Afghanistan, Vietnam and other entrants with refugee or asylee status.
