Programs
Full-Time Program Registration Information
Applicants accepted for enrollment are scheduled for registration a few weeks prior to the beginning of classes. The registration process takes approximately two hours.
The length of individual programs is determined by the number of clock hours. The school year is divided into five quinmesters. Each daytime quinmester is 225 clock/contact hours, approximately 9 weeks. Evening clock hours vary each quinmester. Approximately 30 clock/contact hours equals one credit hour. Credit hour equivalencies are assigned to assist in determining students' academic progress.
Part Time Class Intent and Registration Information
Part-time courses are available to individuals at least 16 years of age who need technical training for new employment or for upgrading current job skills. Many courses are specifically for those already employed in a particular occupation; prior experience may be required. Students enrolled in another Hillsborough County school are eligible to enroll in classes provided they pay tuition.
Days are coded as follows in this schedule:
- Monday - M
- Tuesday - T
- Wednesday - W
- Thursday - R
- Friday - F
When a class is listed as M,W this means that the class meets on both Monday AND Wednesday nights each week until the final date of the class.
Students may register one of two ways: by registering online at your site or you may utilize a computer in our Career Planning Center, Room 158, located in Erwin's main building. In order to register for a part time class you must register "on line" only. Classes are filled on a space available basis.
On-site registration takes place during regular business hours (See 'Student Services Office Hours' in column at left).
Payment of tuition is made at the time of registration unless otherwise noted. Money Orders, checks, and credit cards are accepted for tuition and books. All advertised prices for books/supplies do not include taxes and are subject to change. Books are only available for purchase on the first night of class.
Financial Aid and Veterans Benefits are only available for Full-Time/Job Preparatory Programs.
